The Adansi Praso Community Chargers, a dedicated group of concerned youth from Adansi Praso, Accra, and abroad, have come together with a shared vision: to encourage and support the young ones in their community. Comprising a solid team of twenty young individuals, the organization, headed by President Franklin Owusu, recently marked a significant milestone in its mission.
On July 24, 2024, the Adansi Praso Community Chargers presented their maiden awards during the Roman Catholic Basic School graduation ceremony in Adansi Praso. This event was a momentous occasion for the community.
The awards ceremony saw the presentation of several school items to the pupils, a gesture aimed at supporting their educational journey. Additionally, the organization honored the best teacher with a citation, recognizing the hard work and dedication of the educators who play a pivotal role in shaping the Pupils’ future.
During the event, the Adansi Praso Community Chargers took the opportunity to introduce their organization to the community, outlining their goals and the strategies they plan to implement to change the narrative for the upcoming youth of Adansi Praso. Their aims include creating a supportive environment that nurtures the talents and potentials of young individuals, providing resources and opportunities for personal and academic growth, and fostering a spirit of cooperation and community engagement.

In response, the school management highlighted the urgent need to improve academic standards at the Roman Catholic Basic School. They appealed for support in providing desks for the pupils and computers to equip their computer lab, essential resources that would significantly enhance the learning environment and educational outcomes.
